Music Therapy Services
Bridgeway Therapy Center’s music therapy team treats children and adults of all ages on an outpatient basis as well as students enrolled in Bridgeway Academy.
Music therapy goals may include:
- Increasing social interactions, attention, and engagement
- Increase communication (verbalizations, gestures, vocalizations, AAC, etc.)
- Increase body awareness and coordination
- Increase self-regulation and self-advocacy skills
- Increase fine and gross motor skills
- Increase school readiness skills
- Increase executive functioning skills
- Decrease anxiety or pain
Therapeutic Environments:
- Individual Therapy
- Dyads
- Co-treatments with Speech, PT, Music, Mental Health, Complex Behavior, and Family Partnership
- Voice and instrument lessons
- Small Groups
- Theatre Group
- Ukulele group
- Social groups
Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am – 6:00pm
Sessions usually last 30-45 minutes and are scheduled according to therapists’ availability and client needs
